Thank you. You guys were amazing today. I was very on the fence about playing or not. I knew it was colder than I liked to play. I suspected others felt the same way. But I knew the course was open.
It is not my intention to do everything by committee. This was hopefully an rare condition. I know we’ll have nights where rain is an issue. I’ll cross that bridge (if it is not flooded) when I get to it.
Schedule Update
I did update the schedule. The easiest and safest (meaning I wouldn’t screw up matches) was to move this weeks matches to July 22. And that is what I did. I think the web site is updated. Please advise if you see any errors.
Decision on Absent Golfers
It hit me after I sent last nights email. If a golfer is absent and has no average, I will simply score them at max score on every hole. It is going to be a huge advantage for the opponent of the absent golfer. But it does at least mean if the playing golfer completely blows up on a hole, he has some competition. This is only a factor when I golfer does not have an average, so I expect this to be a short lived problem.
Updated Emails
Several of you asked me to switch your email addresses. That should be reflected in the email. If this came to the wrong email, please let me know.
For anyone else who wants me to change their email, just let me know. The most common case is wanting league updates to go to a personal account and not a work account.
