Milepost 33 Closeup
Photo posted to fb by Jeff Wood on January 22, 2022. Description from post.

March 2015 in BUUUUURG. This was the 3rd cut of the Peavine. First was in May 2003 at the east end of Mt. Zion siding. Then it was moved to the east end of Peebles double over under route 32 because there was a lumber load for Haas lumber in Peebles. Then here in Burg just east of the Main street grade crossing. The milepost C-33 is only one of a couple of 3 or 4 I had found that had recessed numbers instead of painted on. Originally there was a P-## and a C-##. P-88 C-19 embossed one each side of the triangle post. From what I have learnt when they were changed the post were pulled out of the ground and turnt upside down and the C-number painted on them.
