Category Description:
For as long as I've lived, I was absolutely certain the "T" was lost forever. From the time I was a kid, when driving away from downtown Batavia, this bridge read "NORFOLK AND WES_ERN". The "T" was never there. (I cannot believe it, but I do not have a picture of the bridge with this lettering, but I swear it existed that way for years).

Low and behold in 2010 I went to Batavia and they were in the midst of painting the bridge, maybe the last image of the old gray paint on the bridge (image 640 below). And when they finished the brdige a short time later, "VOILA", the "Y" was back. Or as far as I was concerned there for the first time ever.

The now green bridge proudly proclaims NORFOLK AND WESTERN. It is a nice looking bridge, but the old misspelled brdige has nostagic value.
