NS Frieght at Summit Road
|
|
Gussing this is closer to 1989 or early 1990s, after I started driving. Almost looks like I got down in the creek for this shot. At the time, my interest was 100% on the train. Now, looking at it thirty years later, I almost wish the train were not there. This shot is going to be the inspiration for modeling the Summit Road crossing and the Four Mile Run creek. Of particluar interest is the perfect condition of the telegraph poles. Still upright, arms intact. Today, this scene is largely overgrown.
