Moving Grain On The Cincinnati Eastern Railroad! Train High & Dry Running Long Hood Forward On Railroad Trestle Over Abandoned Canyon Road. Short Line Railroad Action At Its Best! This Train is in Sardinia & Mt Orab, Ohio on Cincinnati Eastern Railroad CCET. Grain train and Rock Train all in one! Look how cool it looks with locomotives running in reverse with matching paint schemes! We also see the Norfolk Southern locomotives that are stored on a railroad siding in Sardinia. All railroad cars on this train are loaded. The grain came from Winchester Ag and the rock came from Hanson quarry in Plum Run, Ohio which is just east of Peebles. The track beyond Plum Run is used for car storage for almost 4 miles and then beyond that it is out of service. The out of service portion goes to Portsmouth, Ohio and has some major washouts and a huge railroad bridge that has flood damage. Trains use 160.860 and normally use a flag instead of EOT.
