Cincinnati East Terminal Railway SD45-2 and GP49 Railfan Chase

First train of the week has two awesome EMD locomotives! CCET train horns in the early morning notified us of the approaching freight train on the Norfolk Southern Peavine Line. The eastbound train was heard crossing the level crossing near Mt. Orab, OH just before 10AM and the short train returned westbound less than two hours later with tank cars moved out of storage near Sardinia and one covered hopper car. The first clip is at Bodman Rd near Mount ORab and the second clip is at the grade crossing of Fourth Street in Williamsburgh OH on a steep and sharp curve at MP33. The outro shows some scenes at the JawTooth compound taken during the Eclipse of “Totality”. The light had a weird blachish tint and there were C shaped lights shining through the maple trees onto the sidewalk and porch. We were in the 90 percent zone of “totality” but I would say 20 percent would be more accurate. I knew I should have gone to Tenessee with Millenniumforce!.
