Train Master Letter Regarding Caboose Abuse
Posted to Facebook History of the Peavine Group Page February 3, 2019 by Chad Fannin. Description from post

A old letter from 1891 from the Train Master giving a fit about crews sliding new cabooses and causing flat spots on the wheels. The photo is from Virginia Techs archives. I believe this is one of their older cabooses. In my grandfathers collection the photo has a note saying it was taken in Williamsburg. -Chad https://imagebase.lib.vt.edu/image_viewer.php?q=ns1808
