Here is a older article from the N&W historical society, wrote by Ed King. It has several photos from Jim Henry who I think still lives in Waverly. Hope they don't mind me posting it here. It tells a lot of the stories that maybe led to the demise of the Peavine. NS likes fast freight from one point to the end were needed and you couldn't do that on the Cincinnati district.
