Posted to Cincinnati Eastern Railroad Facebook Group By Brian Gibson, November 15 , 2019. Image taken from video. Description from YouTube page.
Short line railroad action! Very unusual locomotive lash up of 2 B36-7 and an SD45-2 going over a huge trestle with 27 loaded freight cars on a heavy freight train. Short line railroad Cincinnati Eastern Railroad in downtown Mount Orab, Ohio and Williamsburg, Ohio. My video yesterday showed the General Electric B36-7s (1985) running eastbound with 3 covered hoppers for Winchester Ag Services. This video shows these 2 units along with an EMD SD45-2 pulling 25 loads of grain and 2 gondolas full of scrap metal. I also have videos of switching operations and maintenance on this historic branch line in southern Ohio. Filmed November 14, 2019 during its westbound run. CCET leases 69+ route miles from Norfolk Southern. The towns in this video usually get 2 or 3 round trip trains a week and operate on 160.860. Thanks for watching! For more info, check out one of my playlists for this railroad line or go to my FaceBook group. Please watch another video of mine to help support my channel. Gas and motels aint cheap! I found that out when I was in Augusta, Georgia during The Masters. Anyway, please leave a comment, rate and SUBSCRIBE TO JAWTOOTH!!
