Y3 Crossing Red Bank trestle
Posted to Faceback by Chad Fannin November 15, 2020. Description from post.

N&W class Y3 No.2009 seen crossing over Red Bank trestle (bridge #2083) Cincinnati, Ohio, date unknown. Robert Chapman photo, Ed Fannin collection reprint.

Just for fun comparison and information, a newer big diesel locomotive you might see today would weigh around 430,000 pounds. N&W Y3’s came in at about 531,000 pounds or 265.5 tons.
