Return To Gallery Menu   Inside The Cab Of 6697 In August 2015, a business trip created an opportunity to do some railfanning in England. This shot is from the Didcot Railway Museum. The museum has a large collection of vintage British steam. I'm not 100 percent sure this is the cab of 6697. It is either 6697 or 5322, but I do not have note to confirm. My conclusion that this is 6697 is based on the sequence of my pics, th green paint inside the cab on the far side and the shape of the window on the near side.
