									| Coupler Linkage Between 1338 and 1340 |
									| |
									| In August 2015, a business trip created an opportunity to do some railfanning in England. This shot is from the Didcot Railway Museum. The museum has a large collection of vintage British steam. I found the linkage system between engines interesting. Far different than what we are use to in the US today. This shot focuses more on the bumpers between cars. I like this system, and it seems is would have the capacity to handle higher speed impacts.
