Broad Gauge Turntable
In August 2015, a business trip created an opportunity to do some railfanning in England. This shot is from the Didcot Railway Museum. The museum has a large collection of vintage British steam.
The accompanying sign explains this was used to turn handcars, and if short enough, short wheelsets. This noteworthy thing is the guage. It is the 5 foot broad guage that was used for a time in England.
