Railroad Switching On Huge Trestle! Biggest Trestle On Short Line Railroad Cincinnati Eastern RR

Railway shunting on short line railroad east of Cincinnati. A huge trestle is located near the switch to the railroad siding. Check out this awesome scene of the train switching on the trestle to pull a car out of storage east of Winchester, Ohio at Mount Zion. This is Cincinnati Eastern Railroad in 2021! The classic locomotives in this video are an EMD MP15DC and a GE B36-7 and just listen to the sounds of these units and check out the train horns. Where else can you find these two locomotives working together? CCET leases 69+ route miles of track from Norfolk Southern and has numerous customers and car storage. When they started on this line about 7 years ago NS had reduced the line down to only one customer. There are over a half dozen customers today and Purina is building a huge site on the line at Afton. On the day of this video the train had just worked Cohen Recycling in Macon, Ohio and picked up the 6 loaded gons. I got them going eastbound to Mount Zion to pick a covered hopper out of storage and then return back westbound. To get the car out they had to pull a long string of tank cars and covered hoppers out on the main and then shove back. That move required the locomotives to cross the huge trestle over Elk Fork. After they put the cars back into the siding I caught them a second time crossing the huge trestle. Normally when I film the trestle the sun is in my eyes but that was no problem today since it was cloudy. This is my best shot ever of a train crossing this bridge. Also, check out that shot I got looking down on the train as it goes under the highway in the outro. You can get a good look at the top of the train and the different kinds of scrap metal in the 6 gondola cars.
