Rock Train On Cincinnati Eastern Railroad, Both GP15s, Both Sides Of Train, My Dog Goes On The Chase
Video posted to fb by Jaw Tooth on November 11, 2022. Description from You Tube post…

Rock Train Appears Out Of Nowhere! Train Horns, Awesome Railroad Crossings & Dog Who Loves Trains! Short line railroad at its best. This is a grain and rock train with 2 GP15-1 EMD locomotives taking cars to their customers. Winchester Ag will load the grain and Hanson will load the rock. I chased the train with Chessie from Klein Road in Mount Orab to Maple Ave in Sardinia , Ohio.

The train was eastbound just after 2pm. After I filmed both sides of the train, it was stopped just west of downtown Sardinia and the engines were cut off and ran light to the wye where locomotives are stored and serviced. I think they were going to pick up the SD40-2 to continue their trip to the quarry at Plum Run which is just east of Peebles at Mile Post 74. Maybe this weekend the train will be loaded and ready to head back westbound.

Notice that the crew used an end of train device. That was pretty cool to see! Its been a while since I have seen one of them used on this line. Normally, they only use them at night or in poor light.

Filmed in 1080p with 60fps on Thursday November 10, 2022AD

Thanks for watching! If you have time, please watch another video of mine to help keep my channel going. Every view helps support my channel. Viewing time helps pay for gas, motels, rental cars etc. I have a list of places that I plan on filming so watch another video of mine if you have the time.
