Car Doesn't Know What To Do With Train Coming! Bonk! New Locomotive & Manned Pusher In Snow
Photo posted to Youtube by Jaw Tooth on January 28, 2026. Description from post.

Car Stops In Worst Place Possible & Train Coming In The Snow! Manned Pusher Locomotive On Rear Of Long Train & New Green Locomotive On Front. 1st Train Ever With Double Six Axle Power & 1st Train In 5 Days On East End Of Peavine Line. Record Snow And Cold Temps. Train Chase On Cincinnati Eastern Railroad Through Several Small Towns.

The new green locomotive is being used for the second time. This time it is en route to the quarry with a longer than usual cut of empty hopper cars and the red SD40-2 shoving on the rear. This is called the "Top & Tail" in the UK. We call it the "Push Pull" in the USA. Five days before I filmed this video I filmed the green locomotive running westbound with a loaded rock train. This is the first trip to the quarry since I filmed that.

I first caught up with the train in Winchester, Ohio. They had just spotted a short cut of covered hopper cars on the grain spur. Winchester Ag Services has their own switcher locomotive that will retrieve the cars for loading grain.

I followed the train eastbound and caught it at Mount Zion Road in Mount Zion, Ohio. The train is coming up a grade and passing storage cars. Each locomotive has an engineer and the conductor is following the train in a company van.

Then I go to Seaman, Ohio. A car got to the railroad crossing just as the gates and lights activated. The driver stopped in a terrible spot and a gate hit the top of the car. It bounced a couple times and then the driver took off and exited stage left. Notice the snow getting moved off the tracks by the locomotives snow plows. That was pretty cool.

I also got the train in Lawshe and Peebles, Ohio. Peebles is the location of a lumber company that uses the rail to ship raw, untreated railroad ties in gondola cars. They have their own siding. We take a look at the track before and after the train passes. There wasn't much rust due to the extremely low temperatures.

Don't forget the Live Action Pets and the Slide Show at the end of the video.

I am looking for additional information on the new locomotives. I haven't had time to do research on them so if you know anything about them please let me know also. Filmed Tuesday, January 27, 2026 in 1080p/4K with 60fps. Thanks for watching! Please thumbs up and watch another JawTooth video to help my channel.
