We camp at Lake Waynoka and I got my start at Arion crossing as a extra laborer out of high school.I was the signal maintainer in 1979 then again in 1982-83.The propane company did have a siding at one time at Macon so did Kiebler Lumber,Ortner Rail Car in Mt. Orab.
Sardinia was a hoping place back in the day MW,B&B,Clerks,Roadmaster,Signal Mtr. ooooh the memories....

WOW the track chart is awesome. Unbelievable, I had an idea for a T-shirt for the Peavine, with a Peavine like the beginning of your track chart with the town names in each leaf. I have 2 charts from 1963 and 2001 if you are interested, I could send them to you. |
