Cincinnati Brown

It has been a really wonderful season for Mr. Brown. Not Mike. Mike has to be pretty frustrated. But the Cincinnati Brown, now that is a team having a good year. And this week, they were the top team. Brown beat the Renegades 145-125 to pick up their third TOW. Taysom Hill was Player of the Week with 36, not bad for a tight end. Unfortunately for Brown, 7-4 only gets them second place. And it is a heartbreaking loss the Renegades who scored 125 and loss at a time they desperately needed a win.

Best game was the Warriors defeating the Scammers. Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase engineered a Sunday night comeback to pull off an 88-84 victory. Burrow had 35 in the game, and Chase had 19 more. The Warriors are now 7-4 and in first place in their division.

The Destroyers had a big game, and beat Multiple Scoregasms 144-125. This definitely falls into the category of another tough loss. For the Destroyers though, Tua Tagovailoa had 29, the Texans defense had 22 and Tee Higgins had 20. Both teams were 5-5, so this was a big win of the Destroyers.

The Oky Ducks benefited from the Sunday night game like the Warriors did. They got 30 from Justin Herbert to beat the Flippin Birds 117-98. Breece Hall and Jerry Juedy added 24 and 20 respectively. The Ducks have the best record in the league at 8-3.

The Milford Marauders beat I Got Boom 106-77. Josh Allen had 27 and a feaking kicker Chris Boswell had 24. The Marauders are now 6-5 as they start their run for a playoff spot.

The Swamp Monsters got a much needed win, beating the Kentucky Moondogs 101-87. Jameis Winston had 30 and David Montgomery 21. This win keeps the Monsters in the thick of the playoff race.

SURVIVOR - CROWNING A CHAMPION
We were down to two. It was the Swamp Monsters vs I Got Boom. And this was pretty one sided. The GREAT DISMALL SWAMP MONSTERS are the 2024 SURVIVOR Champion, eliminating I Got Boom. Congratulations Swamp Monsters.

For the last three weeks, we'll do a second chance runner up Survivor. This will go to 1) the teams with the most TOWs, and the remaining spots filled by the highest point total. So the second chance teams are…
Cincinnati Brown - 3 TOWs
Multiple Scoregasms - 2 TOWs
Warriors - 2 TOWs
Scammer - 138 point game
Not gonna lie, I didn't even remember having a TOW this year.

GAME OF THE WEEK
Probably the game of the season. Maybe a Tailgaters Bowl preview. A huge matchup of two of the best teams in the league. The Oky Ducks look to put the Paul Brown division on ice when the travel to Cincinnati Brown. The Ducks are 8-3 and lead the division. Brown is 7-4, but hold an insurmountable advantage in total points, especially if you consider they will pad their lead with a win. So the winner of this game will control the path to the division title.

Being division rivals, they did play once before. The Ducks won that game in week six 106.5-106.2. You can only hope for that type of game in the rematch.

Why do these QB matchups always disappoint. It almost makes be believe QBs are overrated. Justin Herbert is OK. He'll probably play for the Ducks. But Brown is going to pick between Matthew Staffor and Drake Maye. I'd never heard Drake Maye's name before researching this article. And he has the highest point total projection.

I really felt good about Brown's chances given the point differential. But looking at players, I'm not so sure. And I just looked at Brown's entire team. He has eight players on bye. You have your biggest game of the year and send the entire team on vacation. So much for the good video, I think the Ducks fly all over Brown in this game.
