Score correction from last night. I had Putt Pirates and Putt Buddies reversed in the original results
Going forward, please include your team name on the scorecard. Having tee time would also be helpful. For tte teams that swap players, I have two players assigned to each team as the full time players (my spreadsheet requires it), and that is what I match to to determine the team. Having team names would reduce errors.

Closest to the Pin
Eric Ruter won all $10 in the closest to the pin and long putt competition Tuesday night. Eric hit to withing eight feet, so the story goes, on number 13. Nobody won the longest putt. Having a hard time figuring this out personally. Ya mean nobody made a putt outside the putter length?

Unfortunately for Eric, he incurred $10 fine from the league because he was responsible for putting the markers out and he put the long putt marker on the wrong hole. Just kidding Eric. I have your cash and will give it to you tomorrow if I don’t leave it on my desk at home.

Well Done League
Sharon Woods has a starter who tracks pace of play. He tracked me down tonight to tell me that last week to report that of all ten foursomes, only one was behind pace and that was by two minutes. All the other groups were either on time or ahead of pace.

I know that is a big deal to the golf courses and to the league that follow us. They seem very happy with us and I wanted to be sure and pass that along.

Use The Sub Request Form
I cannot always check email during the day. If you need a sub, you can list your name on the home page. If you need a sub for your partner, go ahead and post it with your name. It doesn't matter who's name is on the web site. I'm just trying to get opening matched to subs.

You will also find subs putting their name out there who are available. You can email them directly, and if they list their cell, you can text them. You don't have to go through me to line up a sub.

The hope is this can be self service. I'm sure the weather has been a factor, but we've had quite a few unused tee times this year.

And subs, don't be shy about putting your name out there is you want to play. If I'm trying to fill an opening, I give preference to the names on that list.
