Nobody came home in the 30s this week. The best round of the night was Doug McGrew, Dude Wheres My Par, with a 40.
SIDE GAMES OFF AND RUNNING
Congratulation to DeeDee. Not for winning the long putt contest, we will get to that in a minute. But for getting closest to the pin and long part started. It was a small group the first night which created some interesting results But if you are interested, please contact DeeDee about playing next week.
I mentioned interested results. Nobody hit the green on the par three. So DeeDee made an executive decisions. If one of the prizes is not claimed, the prize money rolls to the other game. In this case, it went to long putt.
Long putt was won by Drake Stewart. But we didn’t see Drake at the clubhouse afterward to collect. DRAKE, please email DeeDee this week to collect your prize money. You can use the SIDE GAMES button on the home page to email DeeDee.
The funny story out of this is DeeDee didn’t enter the very game she was organizing. She didn’t have the cash, and since she had set the rule no cash, no play, she obeyed the rule. She then promptly sunk a twenty foot putt on seventeen that would have won the prize. Ya know, in hindsight, probably best the organizer didn’t win on the first night.
GOLFER AVERAGES
Golfer averages will be updated tomorrow night once I know there are no errors in last nights results. If I updated averages on the spreadsheet, and then have to make changes, it will miscalculate the match results.

The is the end of the useful information. Read on only if you like TMI.
The schedule changes next week. The first five weeks of the season, you have played teams from the opposite division. The next nine weeks are a true round robin within your division. This is where the standing will really get shaken up. And for the league members who played last years, you’ll start to cycle through the other teams you are familiar with. The first five weeks were good, got us intermingled with one another.
This will relate to the side games. DeeDee will be running side games for the Jack Nicklaus Division. We don’t have anyone running side games for the Arnold Palmer Division. If anyone is interested, please let me know.
