After an 0-2 start, the Warriors had their strongest showing of the season with a 128-98 win over the Moondogs. Joe Burrow was the catalyst for the Warriors, scoring 31 on Monday night. Joe connected with JaMar Chase, who added another 23. That was more than enough to overcome the Moondogs who did get 33 from Dak Prescott, but not much from anyone else. The Moondogs drop to 0-3.

Josh Allen captured Player of the Week Honors with 38 total points, also on Monday night. That blew open the game for the Marauders against Multiple Scoregasms. The Marauders ended up winning 99-66. In addition to Allen, the Marauders got another 20 from Aaron Jones. The Marauders are now 3-0.

There are two other 3-0 teams. Another is Cincinnati Brown, who won the closest game of the week, beating the Scammers 100-98. Saquon Barkley and Aaron Rodgers had 39 and 25 respectively for Brown, who appear to have the best team they’ve ever had in this league.

The last of the unbeatens is the Oky Ducks, who took care of the Great Dismal Swamp Monsters 113-83. Zach Charbonet was sweet as wine with 22 points. Malik Nabers added 20 more. Despite being 3-0, the Ducks find themselves in second place right now based on total points scored behind Brown.

For the second time this year, the Flippin Birds have been the second highest scoring team in the league. But this time they won, getting a 124-101 victory over Dan’s Destroyers. Derick Henry was the top dog, scoring 29 points for the Birds. It is the Birds first win of the season.

IGot Boom won the remaining game this week. They beat the Renegades 89-68. Lamar Jackson had 27 while Chuba Hubbard had 22. Nobody else for Boom got in double digits, but that was enough to secure the win.

After three weeks, there are the three undefeated teams and only one 2-1 team. There is a six team log jam at 1-2 before you get down to the Moondogs, the only team still looking for a win.

SURVIVOR
Our two time defending champion was the low scorer this week, meaning they are ushered off the island. So long Multiple Scoregasms.

GAME OF THE WEEK
There is a real lack of good games this week. We only have four teams over .500, and none of them play each other. But there is a decent matchup in the form of the Flippin Birds versus the Milford Marauders.

While the Birds are 1-2, one of those loses was with the second best score in the league. So it is no unreasonable to think the Birds could be 2-1. They’ve had consecutive high scoring weeks, and are fourth in the league in total points scored. But you have to worry about the Birds under center, as the top two expected QBs for them this week are Derrick Carr and Trevor Lawerance. Not ideal heading into a game against one of the league’s best teams.

The Marauders have no such question at QB. They have Josh Allen, coming off a great game. Alvan Kamar proved in week two he can light it up with anyone. And this game provides an opportunity for the Marauders to open up a three game lead on a Halas division rival.
