We missed out on a monumental accomplishment by a mere eight points in week three. Oh, it is not just that Momball scored a whoping 149.1 points. 150 point games are rare in this league. But Momball was matched up against the Titan’s King-less Court, who clearly recognized they were outmanned and rested their key players. This resulted in a 149-57, ninety two point margin of victory.

So how do you get to one hundred fifty points. Well, you start by having three players score in the twenties, and two of them scoring 29. Saquon Barkley and Derrick Henry did those honor out of the backfield. Mahomes had a fairly modest day with 22. Then have four more players score in double digits. Everything else from there is gravy. The win moves Momball to 2-1 and into the top of a four way tie for first in the Chuck Noll division.

Its not something I’m tracking, but a swear there is a trend where Player of the Week is often on the losing team. It happened this week to Josh Allen, who led all scorers with 38, and nearly led the Secret Scammers to a Monday Night come from behind win. But in the end, Car Ramrod held off the Scammers, thanks largely to their top scorer’s Monday Night performance. Jamar Chase had 23 to lead Ramrod to a 95-90 victory. Their first of the year, and the Scammers first loss. This was also the closest game of the week.

So for (next best) game of the week, I’ll turn to the Beercats 96-87 victory over the winless Shakedown. Remember just a year ago when Shakedown started something like 8-0. Oh how times have changed. Ironically (this week) that team appears to be the Beercats, who are now the last remaining perfect team. The ’72 Dolphins will be keeping an eye on you. We’ll, not Mercury Morris, who passed away this week. But the rest of them will. Tip of the helmet to Joe Burrow, who had a 31 point performance Monday Night to seal the victory.

Down the Drain enters the win column in a big way. They scored 127 in their victory over Kickin Chicken. Lamar Jackson, Jonathon Taylor and Malik Nabers all scored in the twenties for Drain. The loss is the third straight for Kickin Chicken, in what continues to be a rather rude welcome to the league.

The only other team to hit the century mark was Bane. They handed Transformation Worldwide their first lost, 105-53. Brock Purdy was game MVP with 33, while Chubba Hubbard added 22. The Chuck Noll division is insane right now, with all four teams tied at 2-1 and only separated by points scored.

And Error 404 gets their second win of the season. The knocked off Happy 95-66. Dak Prescott had 33 for the Error.

SURVIVOR
Leaving Survivor Island this week is Transformation Worldwide. That tends to happen when you only score 53 points. So long Transformation.

PRESTIGIOUS PERFORMANCE
Seems like every year Prestige Worldwide is a contender. And this year, they may be more than that. Prestige Worldwide advanced to 3-0 with a convincing 129-54 win over the Ohio State Buckeyes. Three players scored more than twenty points, led by Kyren Williams. And just like the Beercats in the Edison Works League, Prestige Worldwide is that last remaining undefeated team in the Brilliant League.

Nobody topped Josh Allen in the BMFFL either, but this time he won. Allen leads the Old England Patriots to a s 116-84 victory over Fantasmas. Allan was aided by Chuba Hubbard who added 22. This was the first win of the season for the Patriots.

The best game of the week was a defensive struggle. The Cincinnati Eagles got by Steel City FooBall 75-73. Jared Goff had 20 for the victorious Eagles. The Eagles are now 2-1, a game back of Prestige.

The Willow Run Flyers cooled off the Baloony Boiz 119-82. The Boiz had been undefeated. Jamar Chase got 23 for the Flyers. Zach Charbonnet and Aaron Jones added 22 and 20 respectively.

The Gritz Blitz Falcons got their first win of the season, while dropping the Digital Scammers for the first time, 115-72. Joe Burrow put this game out of reach with 31 points. Saquon Barkley and DerricK Henry added 29 more apiece.

And the Rimski Raiders topped the hundred point mark too, beating Florida Sea Breeze 103-84. Patrick Mahomes ad 22 in the win for the Raiders. The Raiders advance to 2-1 on the year.

SURVIVOR
54 points is not mech better at keeping you in Survivor as 53 is. So the Ohio State Buckeyes are eliminated from Survivor.

GAME OF THE WEEK
The best matchup in week four comes from the BMFFL. The 3-0 Prestige Worldwide hits the road to take on the 2-1 Digital Scammers. Prestige is the highest scoring team in the BMFFL, while the Scammers are third.

Lamar Jackson will be the quarterback for Prestige. Prestige will have an advantage here, as the Scammers will have to decide between Sam Darnold and Anthony Richardson. Not great options.

Prestige will have an advantage in the backfield too. Kyren Williams and Devon Achane are better than anyone the Scammers have to offer. If the Scammers have an advantage, it might be at wide receiver.
